Kurt Bütow inserts his unique devices through facial surgery. KURT’S life work and advocacy as a surgeon, informed by a deeply compassionate mind and profound caring to heal one of the rawest most intractable congenital deformities namely facial deformities, is a living process from the deep immersion of Nature. His passion is seen in his painting of the Mercy Ship illustrating the progression from obscurity of darkness to the clarity of light, mirroring disfigurement to aesthetics. He volunteered his time skills and knowledge to give new hope and possibilities to the world, whilst painting this marvel. KURT paints the Rhythm of Nature: … she does not hurry yet everything is accomplished... The artist eagerly explores using layers of mixed colours to create an effect of depth, while visibly unfolds the patience of nature, with his brush strokes.
In heart & art KURT is a Conservationist of Nature which he duplicates in his surgical skills and knowledge, becoming a preserving element adding to the perfection of the eco-human system of healing.
